You know, I find writing about me troublesome, because on paper I might sound like a glittery unicorn handler, yet in real life, I’m more like a spiritual rodeo wrangler.
I tread a delicate line with my peeps (clients, people), somewhere between compassion and arse kicking!
Yep, there might be some weird woo, a crystal or two, essential oils, yoga and stuff, mixed up with solid coaching, teaching and mentoring skills … but nothing I do or suggest comes from anywhere except seeing and feeling the results, and more importantly, the truth I have found there.
… and another thing, I like to mix my metaphors, I find it keeps people on their toes!
There was a time when I didn’t feel powerful, relevant or visible in my own life.
In fact for years – all my life actually – I had given my power away to others. Every time I made a ‘break for the border’ someone else’s agenda brought me back into line. I never felt free to be myself and to achieve my own goals or have a sense that I had made a difference at all.
Everything changed for me when the crash of 2008 happened – at midlife, my husband and I lost everything, and he developed two life-threatening health conditions. You can imagine the stress and overwhelm I felt as I was left to manage the failing family business as he recovered.
However, all of this was a blessing in disguise, as these things often are!
I had to get visible and find my power pretty quickly! I had to get past the fear.
FEAR is the biggest arsehole we have in our life!
(Yes I am a little irreverent – it’s kitchen language from a family of caterers!, but I enunciate my swear works beautifully!)
Fear stops us moving forward, it steals our dreams, it makes us feel small and makes us ill.
Fear possessed me. Every waking thought was spent trying to push fear down and contain it, until I found a way to reach out of my small self and expand, trusting that I could find the tools I needed to survive.
Well, I found I had tools. All the things I had been quietly learning for years. Personal and spiritual development tools.
Naturally curious, always learning, always searching, I spent many years finding out more about myself and the things that fascinated me, but never put it to practical use. (I was always singing someone else’s song thinking others knew better than me.)
But these seemingly weird tools I had learnt not only pulled me through, they enabled me to start my own business and earn money quite quickly after the initial dust had settled.
From personal experience, I know that change and loss of all kinds are a natural part of life, but knowing this doesn’t make it any easier to cope with it when it happens to you.
I didn’t have support when I needed it, so I made it my mission to make sure other women do.
I help women tap into their uniqueness and inner authority – their intuition – so they can choose whats right for them, to feel powerful, relevant and visible in their own lives, to say goodbye to fear, doubt, sadness and loss.
I see what is possible. I help women rebuild their outer world as they explore their inner world.
For the women who find their way to me, that is about a soulful, deepening understanding of their gifts and strengths. It’s about finding clarity and direction at a time when there seems to be neither.
I blend real-world practicality with the unseen realm, the realm of intuition and knowledge. I do it like that because it works – and it works quickly.
My beating around the bush days are gone! I’m in my second half of life and I don’t have time for wasting. Do you?
So how about it?
Put up your hand if you want some of that!
Not got a clue?
