Being yourself is an act of Rebellion!

In a world that wants to make us all the same, being yourself takes courage. It’s not easy, maybe not even natural, to put your head above the parapet to stake your claim.

Perhaps before you can even begin to ‘be’ yourself fully, you must first ‘know’ yourself?

The thread that runs throughout my work is that one must know ‘thyself’ in order to get what you want out of life.  For my clients, that means getting more out of the second half of life!

By the time one reaches the midpoint in life, a few things have been learnt already, often the hard way!

We naturally know ourselves better than we did when we were two or three decades younger. We have experience. Something undervalued and underestimated in the young! Experience applied in a flexible, ready to adapt fashion is, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest attributes and most valuable ways that older personnel can add value to a firm or organization.

But I digress …

When it comes to your second half, knowing yourself more fully is what is required to bring value to your life, to find the magic and meaning to carry you forward through your second half.

That might take form in innumerable ways, depending on each individual, yet finding your unique or particular way is essential for happiness, peace of mind, satisfaction and efficiency!

Efficiency?

Well, how long do you want it to take?  Do you have time to spare, to waste, to squander?

Knowing yourself requires you to really examine the places that trip you up, that repeat – almost like clockwork – and have you moving down the same blind alleys.

Knowing yourself and making good use of the information, mostly and most likely, requires you to change. One of the dirty words for most human beings!

What I have noticed is that with this kind of work – understanding and knowing yourself and subsequent change – is most easily done with help and assistance – No! this is not a blatant plug to engage my services – but a coach, mentor or guide will speed and ease the process and I urge you to choose someone or something to do this work.

The process reveals, that most of us know the answers already. Yet most of us need confirmation and verification, and then permission, to make the changes that help us be more of who we really are.

I believe that that is why we are here – incarnated. We are here to know ourselves fully, to learn and grow and to use that information to bring assistance, help, light, to those around us. That might be on a grand scale, a world-class mission, or locally, with your family or those closest to you.

Whatever it is, you were gifted with this life, and knowing who you are, what you ‘be’ and how to change yourself and your world is the biggest difference you can make, to yourself and to others.

With me, my peeps find that through working with Oracles, Astrology, Hand Analysis, Akashic records and more. I reveal their energy and energy patterns, they learn to track their energy and go deeper to combine this knowledge until it becomes the wisdom that becomes action.

( I use these tools because they work quickly.  I like speed! They go beyond the loop of thinking and over analyzing – you know that one – analysis paralysis! )

Taking action to be yourself, confidently, without apology or doubt is a Rebellious act in a world that convinces us to all be the same.

I became a Rebel when I learnt to be myself. It was such a relief!

Especially after a lifetime of trying to be someone that I thought I should be.

How about you?

Are you ready?

Do you know what you know?

If you would appreciate more information, there are a couple of articles I found below.

And, let me know what you think! I am always interested to hear another point of view.

Know Thyself

“The ancient Greeks traveled to the Oracle at Delphi to seek wisdom and knowledge. Before they entered the Oracle, there above the entrance, was in scripted “Gnothi Seauton” or translated “Know Thyself”. This saying was purposefully placed above the oracle, and would soon after be a prominent hashtag, as those who seek wisdom must first know who they are before obtaining any wisdom and enlightenment from outside forces.”

Why you might not want a psychic reading.

What comes to mind when you think of someone having a psychic reading?

Crystal balls, trance mediums, voices from beyond, your future foretold?

Well, let me tell you right now, if that is what you want from this neck of the woods, it’s not going to happen.

Why? … it’s disempowering.

Think about it … why do you want to know your future?

and,

why do you want someone else to tell you about it?

Go on, take a moment or two to answer that for yourself, if you are in the situation of contemplating having a psychic reading.

Good… got the answers, are they anything like this…?

  • I want to know what is going to happen in my relationship.
  • I want to know if I’m going to lose my job.
  • I want to know if my mother has a message for me.
  • I want to know what to do next because …
  • I want to know if anything bad is going to happen.
  • I don’t believe in any of this and I want you to prove differently.

So say you had a reading and they told you the answer to one of your questions.

Then what?

What are you going to do next?

  • Panic?
  • Sell up?
  • Give up?
  • Beat yourself up?
  • Have more unanswered questions?

None of that is moving you forward. Nothing listed here is offering you a solution.

All it does is create more of the same kind of feelings and dead-end actions.

Seeking these kinds of readings, at best takes your power away.

How can it do otherwise, since you are giving your power to someone else?

At worst, it makes you dependent on someone else. You might feel you have to go back and get more of your unanswered questions fulfilled.

Someone else is doing your work for you. You are not in command of your life.

Disempowered and dependant?

No, not on my watch.

My purpose and everything I do is about empowering women to live better lives. To know themselves more fully, warts and all, so that can create the outcomes they want.

In fact, the warts are the best part because they are generally what is holding you back. Get to the bottom of those, and things move way more easily! You get to create the life that you always thought possible but didn’t  know how.

My purpose is not to make you dependant upon me.

My services use my intuitive skills as a way to empower you. To help you find your answers and with my help find the outcomes and solutions that move you forward.

The reason I use intuitive tools is that I find it speeds up the whole process.

We get there quicker. I like speed!  I don’t want you on a two-year course with me. I want you in your own perfect next step action!

The thing is, something is going to change. If you want something different in your life then something has to. There must be a clearing out, a dying away of something, to make space for the new. It cannot be any other way.

Since change is hard for most of use, especially if it is forced upon us, you might need help and support.

Why not usher in change at your pace?

Why not take the reins and be in command of your own creative life force?

You can create anything, since all great things start with a thought!

All shitty things start with a thought too!

Why use Oracle Cards?

Do ‘Oracle Cards’  sound like a little bit of flim-flam, a bit of nonsensical woo?

( oh boy, you can tell that I might have heard this before!)

Let me give you my take on Oracle cards, and why I use them.

Twenty-first Century living … never before in the history of mankind (like the dramatic effect?) … has there been so much to distract the human brain.        We are overstimulated, surrounded by white noise, mobile phones, alerts, TV, Radio, blah and more blah. It takes a great deal of self-discipline not to be distracted. Our attention span has diminished and our minds have become unruly and undisciplined.

What can we do to help ourselves through this?

We could seek wise council – we could ask a friend or trusted adviser to help us to;

  • find our focus
  • notice our patterns
  • kick our arse 😉
  • help us track ourselves
  • tell us when we kid ourselves
    and
  • tell us when we are spot on!

The way I have been taught to use Oracle Cards and the way I teach my peeps is just like that. They are a wise friend, a counselor.

Part of my daily practice is to use my Oracle Cards to hold up a mirror to what is going on for me.

Some of it I already know, the physical world can be pretty obvious. But some of it is more subtle. Our thoughts, feelings and emotions are things that often seem so much part of us that we can’t see or feel what is going on …  but a friend who knows us well can.

This is how I use oracle cards for my clients too, mostly. There are other ways I can help a client with Oracle cards, but this is the quickest, easiest and most down to earth practical way to keep moving forward with clarity.

We live in a world of drama, we can bring that drama into our life at the touch of a button. People are emotionally challenged.

We live in a world where banal fiction is made real and the truth is too hard to take.

Oracle Cards take you out of the drama, out of your drama and gets you in touch with your truth.

In my opinion, those are some very good reasons as to why you should use Oracle Cards!

What do you think? Do you use them, would you consider using them?

I would love to know … so feel free to comment below.

You also may have noticed that I offer a free Oracle reading if you sign up for my newsletter. (current at the time of writing this post.)

Feel free to take me up on my offer!
